Store Builder has just completed another project: the full restyling of the Dr. Max pharmacy in Pietrasanta (LU).

The building that underwent the Dr. Max pharmacy renovation has an exceptional feature: it dates back to the early 1900s, and many of its interior elements are protected heritage assets. The main goal of the project was to integrate the old with the new—preserving and enhancing the original structures while adding a touch of freshness and modernity.

The original flooring was carefully preserved, as were the antique furnishings, which were restored and reused. The existing checkout counter allowed for the creation of two new marble slabs. Additionally, the masonry arches that separate the different sales areas within the pharmacy were exposed and renovated.

The project required great care and attention, yet throughout the renovation, the pharmacy never had to close. Store Builder organized a mobile construction setup that allowed the pharmacy to continue serving its customers without interruption.
